Boys Over Flowers Season 4, Episode 4 | TV Overload
Well, that was a pleasant enough outing. Sorry, first thing after the first of the year, I shouldn’t say any more than that. We saw why Soo Hyun ended up in Japan in the first place; we saw how he finally stopped being a weakling, and learned that even though some of his friends may have been dying for him to stop acting like he was in order to make it to his girlfriend’s funeral, the boys of the DTSA weren’t going to make that request. (Not to mention the fact that the entire DTSA ended up in Japan again when Soo Hyun overslept and was late to his own funeral. At least this time it’s not a serious death.) After the funeral, the boys enjoyed flowers and flowers and flowers; flowers they picked for each other. Who knew flowers could inspire such passion?
Of course, their flowers were in Japan, not Korea, which is not the end of the world, but for the boys of Boys Over Flowers it might be. (I mean, one of them is in a coma, one of them cheated on his
boyfriend, and one of them will soon be spending more time alone than he should.) In the midst of the passionate exchange of flowers, Sung Hoon and Jung Hyung met up, again, but thankfully were in their own beds, separated, instead of next to each other. A simple push over the edge of the wall and the boys were back to having each other. Even with boys, it’s nice to be able to have a quick kiss without having to worry about being caught. Flowers and flowers and flowers. Flowers. Flowers. Flowers. Flowers.
Well, he slept in his bed for a bit. He woke up. He went to school, where the teachers said he had overslept. He didn’t have time to go out, so he went straight to study hall and only met up with Ji Sung after class. (Though I suppose it’s not really a surprise that Ji Sung went to study hall instead of staying out with Ji Sung. I mean, I don’t know, they were sitting next to each other in the audience, and he had a gift for him. A flower, which is
according to the boys, a sign of affection. So maybe there was no time for the two of them to meet up in the dorm.) He did get a flower from the girls of the school, but the flowers were mixed up and the girls were unable to give him another. A part of him wanted to want to have some sort of flower arrangement to give the girls, or maybe a dozen roses, but he didn’t want to hurt anyone. Especially the girls. It would be
quite uncomfortable. So when Sung Hoon was sitting alone in the library with his own bouquet of flowers and had some time, he picked out a bright pink flower for Becca. The other girls quickly noticed it when he brought the flowers over, so he could see that he was safe from hurting anyone. Then he showed the flowers to Becca, with the intention of having her smile.
